To change your habits, you need to re-program your brain (starting from your inner self to outer self).
Takes a lot of mental rehearsal (the trigger, cue)
Physical reheasal.
Speed makes it work.
One habit at a time - make small calculated changes.

B = MAT (Behavior = Motivation x Ability x Trigger); most people can manage the motivation and ability; the missing element is the trigger - or rather the inconsistent trigger).
We need to be aware first and then decide on what to change - what is the trigger and action on it.
